 A  37 year old male patient from trichy approached us with a complaint of difficulty in chewing foods due presence of pain in his decayed teeth. Past dental history revealed that he lost his upper molar partially 9 years back due to deep dental decay. Somehow he can have soft foods but he is having difficulty in chewing hard foods. DAY 1 - extraction of decayed molar and replacement with dental implants was done on the same day under computerised local anesthesia and impressions were recorded for fixing provisional crowns

Front teeth replacement with dental implants at affordable cost in chennai, India

               A 39 year old male patient from chennai came to our clinic with a complaint of shaking lower front teeth since 1 year, because of which he was also having gaps in his front teeth. On questioning about his past dental history, patient told that he underwent implant procedure and the tooth next it was shaking and giving gap. Patient told that he is having bleeding in his gums while brushing and also having difficulty in chewing foods.           This case report is about our male patient of 29 years from sydney who reported to us with a complaint of missing and few decayed teeth in his lower jaw. This was his first visit to dental treatment, and since childhood he was having fear of dental treatments because of pain and injections. Zirconium implants for patients with titanium sensitivity in chennai, India

                     A 42 year old female patient from Bangalore approached us with a complaint of shaking tooth supported bridge which was done 9 years back in a private clinic in Bangalore and few root canal treated teeth without crowns. 

• During the initial few months of treatment, patient was comfortable with the tooth supported bridge, then after she started to notice that the bridge was shaking and food getting stucked between the bridge and the gum which gave pain both in her gums and teeth as well.

Missing teeth replacemnt with dental implants in chennai, India

                     This is a case report of our 31 year old female patient who came with a complaint of few missing molars since 10 years and deep dental caries in her lower 1st molars. The reason for her missing teeth is that she underwent extraction of  her teeth because of multiple decays and she was not able to chew foods since the molars on both sides were missing. Patients major concern was to have nuts and groundnut cakes which were her favorite foods after 3-4 months of treatment and told that she stopped having her favorite nuts since 10 years. Laser gum treatment and dental implants in chennai, India

                       A 45 year old female patient from Erode approached us with a complaint of discolored upper front tooth and few teeth shaking with gum infection. Patient gave a history of trauma in her upper front tooth during her childhood, during that time she was asymptomatic, as days and years goes on she noticed that her tooth got discolored more and more severe. After a couple of years of discoloration she started having pain in her tooth which affected his normal well being, also patient gave a history of bleeding gums since 6 months. Patient did not undergo any dental treatment since then, we questioned the patient and her daughter to explain the reason, then we came to know that the  patient is having fear of pain in dental procedures(particularly with needles and injections),even with the normal teeth cleaning procedure she was having fear. Patient and her daughter stressed that she wants a painless dental treatment with quick recovery and finally approached us seeking treatment.

                      ON CLINICAL EXAMINATION 

              The discolored tooth was tender on palpation and percussion, the teeth next to the discolored tooth was grade 2 mobile, all her remaining teeth showed generalised mobility with severe calculus and tartar formation, with severe bleeding in her gums.

ON RADIOGRAPHIC EXAMINATION 

There was severe bone loss with periapical lesion and pus formation in discolored tooth and the tooth next to it. Generalised bone loss in all her existing natural teeth.

Fractured root canal treated teeth replacement with dental implants in a day in chennai, India

                             A young male patient aged 26 years from mumbai visited our clinic with a complaint of broken root canal treated teeth. On questioning about the past dental history, we came to know that the tooth was root canal treated 12 years back in other outside private clinic and tooth supported zirconium crown were given. Now the tooth structure has fractured with the zirconium crown and he was having mild pain in that tooth. Patient wants a fixed permanent solution and to regain his smile back.                              CLINICAL EXAMINATION

                      The tooth was tender on percussion and the surrounding gums were painful on palpation with broken root fragments

RADIOGRAPHS-  OPG and CBCT taken revealed a perapical cyst present around the apex of the tooth and we explained the patient that root canal treated tooth was reinfected with pus formation and this was the reason for his pain

                                    TREATMENT PLAN

       After complete examination, treatment plan was discussed with the patient to extract his broken root canal treated teeth followed by replacemnt with basal dental implants under local anesthesia in a day

              DENTAL IMPLANT PLACEMENT PROCEDURE

          After getting written consent from the patient,under local anesthesia the tooth was extracted, after extraction gentle irrigation and curretage was done to remove the cyst followed by irrigation again. Finally one basal dental implant was placed and suturing was done to approximate the gums.

                       

Followed by this, 3D SCANNING using imedit500 intra oral scanner (digital impression) was taken and the prosthesis was delivered on the same day.

FINAL OUTCOME 

After taking the digital impression , prostheis(PMMA crown)  was delivered on the same day.

Dental implants for failed root canal treated teeth in chennai, India

              This is case report of our 32 year old male patient who approached us with a complaint of severe pain in upper front teeth since 1 month. On questioning about the previous dental history, patient gave a history of  2 root canal treated teeth done 8 years back, and tooth supported metal ceramic crown was given to the patient. The other root canal treated tooth was asymptomatic. Patient was not able to speak, that even the tongue pressure over the tooth while speaking and chewing was giving severe pain to the patient, also the patient was not able brush his teeth. Patient itself came to know that the root canal treated teeth was reinfected. then we clearly explained that reinfection in root canal treated teeth is a normal complication and that too it depends on aggressive nature of the bacteria, patient finally understood the current situation of his painful teeth and asked for a permanent solution that would improve his well being.

                               ON CLINICAL EXAMINATION

            The tooth was tender on percussion and palpation of surrounding tissues, adjacent tooth was asymptomatic and there was no tender on palpation and percussion.

ON RADIOGRAPHIC EXAMINATION

A periapical pathology indicating pus formation around the apex of the teeth was noticed and mild to moderate bone loss was noticed around the concerned teeth

After complete clinical and radiographic analysis,, treatment plan was discussed with the patient, first extraction of painful root canal treated tooth followed by replacemnet with basal dental implants in a day and giving connected tooth supported PMMA crown on the same day of implant surgery.

TREATMENT PROCEDURE 

Before starting implant and tooth removal procedure, tooth supported metal ceramic crown was removed followed by extraction and implant placement procedure under local anesthesia. 

IMMEDIATE POSTOPERATIVE OPG 

Following the implant placement procedure, 3D digital scanning using imedit500 intra oral scanning was done and  tooth and implant  supported PMMA bridge was fixed on the same day of surgery
